An Aluminum Portfolio Case Combine Security Features And Stylish Look

By Rodney Greyling

After all the time and effort it takes to create a work of art, the last thing you want is for all of your hard work to be ruined by being bent and mangled inside your portfolio. One bump or drink spill will ruin your laborous efforts. Soft cases offer little in the way of protection when compared to a metal portfolio case.

Isn't your art worth the extra money for a sturdy metal case? There are a couple of very good reasons: security and style.

Security

Art needs to look as good coming out of the case as it did when you put it in. Pulling crumpled, damaged art out to show a buyer or a customer does not bode well for your image. Leather, plastic, and vinyl portfolios are fine to a point, but they fall way short of the protection you can get from a metal case.

Although you may try to protect your portfolio from harm while you are out, accidents do happen. If an accident is going to happen, it will always happen at the worst time imaginable. You are on your way to a big client for a job that could result in a large payday, and that is when the person walking by you on the street trips and falls right into your portfolio.

A soft sided case will not offer your art protection in this situation. A few more dollars could have saved your artwork in this situation.

It is also possible that the day you are required to meet with the client for your big presentation is the day of the big rainstorm. Soft sided cases are not designed to protect your art from this kind of event. You are left with the option of risking your presentation, or trying to reschedule the meeting for a less rainy day. Either option is less than desirable. You will be ready to face any kind of weather with an aluminum portfolio case.

The Style of Aluminum Cases

If you want to make a statement even before you open your case then you should consider a silver portfolio case. Just by looking at the case, people will know that your art is worth the best possible case to carry it in.

There is a lot of competition among artists today. Customers sometimes see several artists' presentation in just a few days. Sometimes it is the image of the presenter as much as the actual presentation that wins the potential job. One way you can stand out from the crowd is to carry a portfolio that is more stylish than the typical case that gets toted around to clients.

For both style and security, metal portfolio cases are hard to beat.
