Hard Portfolio Cases: Better by Far

By Shannon L. Hilson

If you're an artist, you don't like sloppy workmanship and poor design. Your creative eye takes in the details of everything around you and you appreciate beauty wherever you see it. You are always ahead of the trends and are the first one to spot emerging trends in the market. These are some of the qualities of the artistic personality. Little wonder, then, that artists are turning in their soft cases and turning to hard portfolio cases.

The best of these cases are aluminum hard portfolio cases. If you are looking for the best, then aluminum is the best choice. It is light weight, beautiful in appearance and offers the best protection for your art. You can buy hard cases made from other materials, but at least one of these elements will be missing.

Artists are concerned about the practicality of their tools and equipment. Even if they are the stereotypical starving artist, they won't settle for anything less than the best brushes, paints and easels. Serious artists feel the same way about the case they carry their portfolio in. Hard portfolio cases would be worth spending more on even if they were expensive, which they're not.

Aluminum hard portfolio cases stand head and shoulders above all the others when it comes to their appearance. Their sleek minimalist design is perfect for carrying any style of artwork. Up close, an artist's keen eye appreciates the fine detailing, like the chromed handle and reinforcing corners. These are the kinds of details that make all the difference.

Open up a hard portfolio case and you're in for another pleasant surprise. The black leather style lining looks terrific and has been stitched, not glued into place. It doesn't take a Picasso to figure out that displaying your art work from a case that looks this good inside and out is going to show off your works of art in their best light.

Now close the case again and take it for a test run. The keyed latches close tight, so you know they will stay closed in transit. You also appreciate the fact that, unlike other cases, your hard portfolio case is lying flat when you close the lid and you don't have to reach around and zip up a zipper that may or may not stick.

The chromed handle is a nice touch and feels great to carry. If you prefer, you can make use of the strap pins on the case and the ergonomic shoulder strap that came with the aluminum hard portfolio case and hang it off your shoulder. When you lay the case down, you and your client will appreciate the soft, protective rubber feet on the base of the case.

You're an artist, so naturally you appreciate all of the fine details of aluminum portfolio cases. What about others, though? Will your clients be as impressed as you are? Yes, they will and they will be as impressed with you as they are by your hard portfolio case.
