The current trend nowadays is that the old is hip. It may sound ironic but vintage is now the latest trend. Fashion brand today try to put in a touch of vintage into their designs. Yet there are still those who want genuine vintage handbags.

Vintage is like a pop of boldness and vibrancy to the usual outfits that we see and use. Accessorizing with a vintage bag is really classy but at the same time trendy. It's like adding a unique spark to the usual things we see.

Designer vintage bags can be very expensive. But there are still those who would really spend much for it. If you also dig vintage handbags then you'd probably be worrying about shopping for them. As they are vintage items the supplies are very limited and it can be hard to shop for them. You have to be careful in choosing the right ones. The following are some tips on picking out a vintage bag:

1. Know your brands-note of the top handbag brands and make sure you know how to identify which one is genuine. You have to know the trademarks and features of every brand. Some sell out fake bags as vintage at a higher price so you should be cautious.

2. Check for quality-because vintage items have been there for a while, the quality may have deteriorated. Branded ones are quite durable but they would still have those normal signs of wear and tear. You have to make sure you check for any of these signs before you agree to a price.

3. Check your dealer-make sure that you will be dealing with a company or a person who is trustworthy enough. This is really important when you shop online. Try to do a background check on the ratings and feedback about the seller before purchasing your vintage handbag.
