Unfortunately, as women get older and live even more hectic lives, it becomes harder to stay on top of everything--especially fashion. While the latest "it" dress may come and go, handbag trends are easier to follow and they stay in season much longer.

Right now large bold colored bags are all the rage. If you aren't into bold color, then try handbags dating back to 1960's or 70's, they are now known as vintage bags.

Clutch bags were always big and any shoulder bag always stands the test of time. Very trendy right now is the hobo style bag. Whether bright and bold or just one plain color this style bag seems to fit everyday life in general. It can be jazzed up with a scarf and used for a night out, or get one in a soft material that is comfortable to use during the day.

Hobo handbags is able to hold just about anything you will need to haul. Vintage refers to any kind of handbag design made in the 60's up until the 80's.

These are daytime clutches, top handle satchels, and shoulder bags. The primary difference, however, is that the strap length is longer and can reach your hip. Back then, most handbag designs were meant to be tucked under your arm.

Keep an eye on fashion magazines for upcoming trends; they have the latest styles from Paris, London or Milan. If you've the space save all your old bags, after all, bags from thirty years ago are now considered vintage and trendy.

Try shopping at second hand stores; they sometimes have great bargains to be had. For the modern woman, hobos are a godsend because they look fashionable but are still large enough to bring all the stuff that they need every day.
