Roller Aluminum Laptop Cases for Travel or Business

By Rodney Greyling

Forget daypacks and carry on luggage. In a digital world, they are pass. Today's traveler carries roller aluminum laptop cases with them wherever they go, whether it's on business or for pleasure. Whether you're traveling across town or around the world, if you need to carry more than just your laptop with you, you want one of these compact workhorses.

If you're thinking of one of those clunky looking rolling suitcases you've seen in the airport, you've got the wrong idea. Think of your favorite Hollywood star or one of those guys who runs Google or Microsoft and you get a better idea of the kind of image these cases convey. Depending on the image you want to convey, you can choose sophisticated black or high tech silver and polished aluminum.

Style is of little use without substance, though. Don't worry, roller aluminum laptop cases are designed for maximum functionality, no matter what you're using them for. You can only see the inside of the box if you have the right combinations, though. The double combination locks come with tamper-proof latches, so nobody who isn't supposed to be inside can get inside, no matter how hard they try.

There are three ways you can transport a roller aluminum laptop case. You can attach the rollers in an instant; you can choose to use the detachable, ergonomically designed handle; or you can attach the cushioned shoulder strap. The fact that you can detach or attach these as you like means that there will never be an annoying attachment when you don't need it.

Now, open up the case and see what's inside. First check out the black, padded nylon lining. Now see how your laptop is firmly yet gently held in place in the top section of the case. It will hold a laptop with a screen up to 18", so you don't have to go out and buy a notebook or netbook if you don't want to.

Now look inside the base of your roller aluminum laptop case. Do you see all of those dividers and straps? They are there to make it possible for you to customize the interior of your case. If you are going to take it with you on a business trip, you can convert the case into a travel briefcase. If you're going on a vacation, you can pack your clothes and toiletries inside. If you're going on a short trip, you can take everything with you in one compact case.

You're not going to have any trouble convincing yourself to buy a roller aluminum laptop case, but you may have some trouble deciding on which one to buy. That's a decision you're going to have to make on your own. Don't worry, though. You can't make a mistake.
